Jason Books is a New Zealand-owned independent secondhand bookshop. The shop is housed in a character building in the centre of Auckland city and has a wide-ranging stock covering most areas of interest.
New books arrive daily.

We stock a good range of contemporary paperbacks including non-fiction titles as well as literary, crime, popular fiction, and classics.
Shop History
Jason Books was established in 1969 on High Street and moved to Lorne Street in 1999. In February 2011, the store relocated to the present site at Chancery Chambers, 16 O’Connell Street. The shop is owned and operated by Maud Cahill with the assistance of Elka Aitchison, Willem Cahill-Chiaroni, Niamh Cahill-Chiaroni, Bruce Ross, and Roger Parsons.

Finding Books
We are happy to take note of your book wants and help you find a desired title. We will also let you know if books in your area of interest come in to the shop. We do not generally offer a book search service, but will keep an eye out for books for you.
