Tohora - The Story of Fyffe House, Kai Koura
Author(s): Jan Harris; Grant Sheehan (Photographer); Stephen Cashmore (Photographer)
Fyffe House was part of the first European settlement in Kai Koura, a whaling station founded in 1842. The book examines the peoples who have lived in the area, the Kai Tahu people and the first Europeans. There are several black and white illustrations of people and of the area, and in the centre a collection of colour photographs. There is a plan of the house itself, and the Fyffe and Low family trees are included.
